Linux Administrator – RHEL & Automation (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a Linux System Administrator to join our Madrid team in a hybrid work model. You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments, ensuring high availability and reliability of critical services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support RHEL servers in production.
• Handle incidents, perform advanced troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
• Execute system changes, updates and maintenance following ITIL processes.
• Automate tasks using Ansible and Bash scripts (Python is a plus).
• Operate high‑availability clusters such as Pacemaker, ServiceGuard or Veritas (nice‑to‑have).
• Manage storage with LVM, NFS and CIFS, and work with basic networking and virtualization concepts.
• Coordinate incidents and changes via ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
• Document work clearly and collaborate with customers and internal teams.
• Use monitoring, logging and alerting tools to ensure system reliability.

Required profile

• FP or Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Linux administration, preferably with RHEL.
• Advanced English and Spanish communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of issues and produce clear documentation.
