Python Full Stack Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Python Full Stack Engineer to join our agile ML & AI ART team at Julius Baer. In this position you will design, build and maintain scalable applications that combine modern front‑end technologies with robust Python back‑ends, supporting the bank’s digital wealth‑management initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver AI‑based full‑stack applications that meet complex business requirements.
• Build dynamic, responsive front‑ends using React, ensuring optimal user experience and performance.
• Develop robust back‑end services with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask or Django.
• Integrate front‑end, back‑end and database layers to create seamless data flows and maintainable architecture.
• Implement and optimise API endpoints and data pipelines for business processes and analytics.
• Test, debug and optimise code across the stack for quality, security and performance.
• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers and other developers throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews, continuous integration and deployment processes.
• Stay current with modern frameworks, tools and best practices to improve development efficiency.
