Senior Business Consultant – Strategic Accounts

About the role
This senior position focuses on managing and growing strategic enterprise accounts within the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. You will act as the primary liaison for high‑value clients, driving renewals, upsells, and deeper collaborations while working remotely across Spain.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and expand strategic accounts in pharma and biotech.
- Build long‑term relationships with executive stakeholders, procurement, and technical decision‑makers.
- Lead commercial discussions on contract renewals, upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
- Own revenue targets, forecasting, and pipeline visibility.
- Identify growth opportunities and drive account development initiatives.
- Collaborate with delivery managers, engineers, architects, and leadership to align commercial goals with delivery capabilities.
- Communicate project risks, operational concerns, and client expectations transparently.
- Conduct complex client conversations with confidence and a solutions‑oriented mindset.
- Improve internal collaboration between account management, sales, and delivery functions.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing enterprise or strategic accounts in consulting, technology, AI, data, or related fields.
- Strong track record of driving account growth through renewals, upsells, and expansions.
- Experience negotiating with executive‑level stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in fast‑paced, evolving environments with strong ownership.
- Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Strategic mindset combined with practical execution capabilities and solid business acumen.
- Proactive risk identification, constructive challenge, and decision‑driving abilities.
- Experience collaborating with delivery, engineering, or technical teams in professional services is highly valued.
