About the role

Join the vibrant food and beverage team at W Barcelona as a full‑time Waiter/Waitress. You will deliver exceptional service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages promptly and courteously.
• Set tables according to event type and service standards.
• Answer guest questions about menu selections and communicate any special dietary requirements to the kitchen.
• Record orders and transactions using the MICROS POS system.
• Check guest satisfaction throughout the service and address any concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, and service stations.
• Complete closing duties, including restocking, turning off lights, and presenting accurate checks for payment.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar food‑and‑beverage role.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work full‑time, standing or walking for extended periods.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
