Yacht Accountant – Financial & Administrative Role

About the role

FRASER Yachts is seeking a Yacht Accountant (also referred to as Yacht Administrator) to join its Palma de Mallorca team. The role supports yacht owners and captains by delivering accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and administrative services for a fleet of luxury vessels.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage budgets, monthly accounts, and financial statements for assigned yachts.
• Process invoices, payroll, insurance premiums and other payments in a timely manner.
• Liaise with captains, crew, owners, and external partners such as banks and insurers to ensure smooth yacht operations.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in line with Fraser Yacht Management System.
• Conduct operational and variance analysis, and support auditing activities.
• Maintain compliance with flag regulations, VAT, insurance, registration and visa requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in yachting finance or a related accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, bookkeeping, payroll and bank processes.
• Understanding of maritime legal aspects including flags, insurance, VAT and contracts.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages (Italian, French, Russian) are a plus.
• Excellent time‑management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using accounting software such as Quicken, Xero or Voly.
