Debt Recovery Specialist – French Speaker

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Collections Specialist to join Otovo’s European Operations Center. In this role you will manage overdue customer accounts, communicate payment matters and support the finance team in a purpose‑driven environment focused on the energy transition.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of overdue customer accounts.
• Contact customers by phone and email regarding payments.
• Set up and document payment plans.
• Process payments and support cash allocation.
• Ensure accurate account reconciliation.
• Support collection targets and maintain quality standards.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in collections, billing, or accounts receivable (or relevant internships).
• Fluency in French and English.
• Basic understanding of collection and reconciliation processes.
• Structured, reliable, and detail‑oriented working style.
• Customer‑focused mindset with strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with an ERP system such as NetSuite (a plus).
