AI Engineer (Quotient AI Specialist) – Madrid

About the role

Oliver Wyman, a global management consulting firm, is hiring an AI Engineer (m/f/d) in Madrid for its Quotient AI team. The role sits in WAVE, a newly created team focused on accelerating AI-enabled business development. You will turn briefs into working prototypes and production-ready solutions, with a focus on agent- and LLM-based work and traditional ML where appropriate.

Key responsibilities

• Build AI agent and LLM-based solutions that support business development and project execution
• Develop traditional ML and analytical models where they fit best
• Prototype delivery formats such as agents, avatars and visual formats that reduce dependence on slides and meetings
• Build with reuse and scale in mind, coordinating with Quotient Inside when a solution is ready to be productized
• Work with the Technical Business Partner, the Platform / Infrastructure Engineer and the Front-end / AI Content Creator
• Join client discussions when technical credibility is needed

Required profile

• Hands-on experience shipping LLM-based or ML solutions, ideally under time pressure
• Strong grounding in ML mathematics (statistics, linear algebra) for the data-science track, or strong engineering practice (testing, code hygiene, deployment) for the software-engineering track
• Ability to make practical design decisions quickly and iterate fast
• Experience building solutions useful in real-world settings, not just experiments
• Full professional English; Spanish welcome
• Preferred: interest in banking and financial services, open-source contributions, experience with agent frameworks or production AI workloads, and comfort in a fast-paced environment
