Amazon Category Specialist – Drive Growth & Profitability

About the role

Sunco.com is seeking an analytical Amazon Category Specialist to own the growth, profitability, and overall performance of assigned product categories on Amazon. You will work cross‑functionally to optimize listings, manage advertising, and ensure inventory health.

Key responsibilities

• Own category performance metrics such as revenue, margin, and KPI targets.
• Develop and execute quarterly and annual growth plans.
• Optimize product detail pages (titles, descriptions, images, A+ content, storefront) to boost conversion.
• Conduct keyword research, manage backend search terms, and improve organic rankings.
• Plan, launch, and optimize Sponsored Ads campaigns (SP, SB, SD).
• Design pricing and promotional strategies that protect margins.
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing, content, and review trends.
• Maintain catalog health by resolving listing suppressions and defects.
• Coordinate inventory levels with supply‑chain teams to prevent stockouts.
• Analyze Amazon Business Reports, Brand Analytics, and Search Term data to drive actionable insights.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience managing Amazon marketplace categories or e‑commerce growth.
• Hands‑on experience with Seller Central, Brand Registry, and Amazon Ads platforms.
• Proven ability to improve revenue and profitability at scale.
• Strong analytical mindset with data‑driven decision making.
