Analyst, Structured Finance & Automation

About the role

SeQura, a Barcelona-based fintech payment platform, is hiring a full-time Analyst, Structured Finance & Automation for its Corporate Finance team. It is an early-career, execution-focused position reporting to the Head of Corporate Finance, combining the analysis of funding facilities with building the automated, AI-driven workflows that run them.

Key responsibilities

• Support the execution cycle of funding facilities: transfer of receivables, rebate and concentration-limit monitoring, financial reporting and compliance with facility documents.
• Build automated workflows for controls, reconciliation and reporting using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and similar platforms.
• Help implement a single facility-management software platform and ensure contracts, controls and reporting come from one source of truth.
• Extract key parameters from facility agreements and verify they are correctly implemented in production systems.
• Contribute to financial modelling for new business lines and prepare recurring and ad-hoc reporting.
• Coordinate with stakeholders such as lenders and potential equity investors, and support investor due diligence and presentations.
• Document processes, map workflows and cluster automations in a central, documented repository.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field is welcome but not required.
• 1-2 years of finance experience, or a strong internship track record; consulting, transaction advisory or audit backgrounds (Big 4, strategy, advisory) are particularly welcome, as is experience at another fintech or financial-services company.
• Recent graduates with the right drive are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases and financial software.
• Knowledge of Metabase, Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
• Exposure to securitisation, structured finance or funding facilities is highly valued.
• Strong automation skills with AI tools; scripting, Python or SQL is a plus.
• Solid financial-modelling foundations and good research, quantitative and analytical skills.
