Android Developer – Core Team

About the role

Veepee is looking for an experienced Android Developer to join its Core Team. You will work within a fully agile, distributed squad of 8‑10 engineers, focusing on improving the quality, security, performance and stability of our Android application while also contributing to the broader Android community.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship new features from architecture to UI, including automated tests.
• Create and maintain internal tools, design‑system components and shared libraries.
• Perform bug fixing, maintenance and respond to production incidents.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, release trains and other agile rituals.
• Guide junior developers and suggest architectural improvements.
• Explore new libraries, services and write summaries to aid decision‑making.
• Improve CI pipelines, automation tools and keep projects up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience developing Android applications with Kotlin.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proven ability to work in an agile, large‑codebase environment.
