Android Engineer - Subscriptions

About the role

As an Android Engineer focused on Subscriptions, you will help shape the premium experience for millions of N26 users. You will work within the Grow & Engage domain, delivering innovative Android features that drive acquisition, upgrades, and daily engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and release new Android features that increase premium subscriptions.
• Continuously improve the Android tech stack and uphold high‑quality standards.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate user needs into functional solutions.
• Participate in the N26 Android community, fostering cross‑team knowledge sharing.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team’s technical growth.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills and a proactive, ownership‑driven mindset.
• Experience delivering end‑to‑end technical projects.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of the Android platform and its frameworks.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and solid understanding of Java.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices.
