Asset Manager – Energy Infrastructure (Data Centers)

About the role

The Asset Manager will lead lifecycle management, resilience and operational performance of critical electrical infrastructure across multiple data centre sites in Spain. Working on‑site in Madrid, you will shape asset management strategies for medium‑ and high‑voltage systems that support mission‑critical facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee asset management for HV lines, substations, transformers, MV/HV distribution, UPS/SAI, generators and related equipment.
• Develop and optimise preventive and predictive maintenance plans for critical electrical assets.
• Create technical standards and equipment normalisation strategies to improve spare management and interchangeability.
• Review external electrical designs, identifying opportunities to enhance resilience and redundancy.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis investigations for major incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Manage incident and change processes, define SLAs/KPIs for external maintenance providers, and monitor performance.
• Supervise on‑site technical work performed by third‑party contractors.
• Support construction, commissioning and delivery of new electrical infrastructure projects in live environments.
• Coordinate technical negotiations, contractor management and supplier homologation with OEMs and specialist contractors.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in electrical asset management and maintenance strategy development.
• Strong technical understanding of high‑voltage infrastructure, substations and mission‑critical electrical systems.
• Proven ability to manage incidents, changes and SLA/KPI monitoring.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in data‑center or similar critical environments.
