About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Waiter to join the team at Hotel Occidental Diagonal 414 in Barcelona. The role supports the front‑of‑house team in delivering smooth service to guests and ensures a welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in greeting guests, helping them settle at their tables when needed.
• Support direct service of drinks and meals to customers.
• Participate in the set‑up, arrangement and breakdown of service stations.
• Help maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the service area and equipment.

Required profile

• Medium‑level Hospitality training (Ciclo Formativo Grado Medio in Hospitality).
• Mandatory HACCP (APPCC) certification.
• At least one year of experience in a similar role.
• High level of English.
• Team‑oriented, able to work under pressure, with a polished personal image and strong customer focus.

• APPCC (HACCP) knowledge.
