Associate Applied (AI) Value Engineer (Nordics) - Orbit Program

About the role

Celonis is recruiting an Associate Applied (AI) Value Engineer for its Orbit Graduate program, a 12-month immersive program that starts with a 2-year onboarding period in Madrid and may include relocation to Stockholm or Copenhagen. The customer base is in the Nordics, involving travel to meet clients in person. You will join the Global Value Engineering Center of Excellence, acting as a trusted advisor to strategic customers on the intersection of technology and business, using Celonis' Process Intelligence platform with AI and ML partners such as Microsoft, OpenAI and Databricks.

Key responsibilities

• Understand customers' AI strategy and business-critical challenges, and turn their requirements into solutions that deliver value
• Build and code within the Celonis platform (SQL, PQL and Python) and prototype solutions in customer hackathons
• Support customers in moving from rule-based automation to autonomous AI agents, and run end-to-end Proof-of-Value projects
• Present the business value of solutions to senior executives and stay involved until agreed value and adoption thresholds are reached
• Specialize in domains or industries (e.g. supply chain) and contribute reusable collateral, best practices and tools to the global center of excellence

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Data Analytics/Science, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related STEM field with excellent academic performance
• Extensive internship experience or 1-2 years of full-time work experience, ideally at the intersection of business and technology
• Fluency in English and at least one Nordic language (Finnish, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish)
• Customer-centric mindset, confidence presenting to diverse audiences and strong organizational skills

Required skills

• Generative AI concepts such as RAG, few-shot learning, prompt/context engineering, multi-agent orchestration and fine-tuning
• Python and common ML libraries (LangChain, pandas, pydantic, sklearn, PyTorch)
• Bonus: customer-facing or sales experience, hands-on proof-of-concept projects, agentic system building, ERP experience (SAP, Oracle) and supply chain process experience
