Associate Director PMI (f/m/d) - Full Remote

About the role

Lonza, a global life sciences company, is hiring an Associate Director PMI (f/m/d) for a full-remote position in Spain. The role drives post-merger integration and carve-out activities across people, technology, processes and governance, working across complex projects from due diligence and planning through execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement Lonza's integration and carve-out capabilities across people, technology, processes and governance.
• Lead and coordinate integration and carve-out activities from due diligence and sign-to-close through Day 1, the first 100 days and subsequent milestones.
• Work hands-on with Finance, HR, IT, Quality, Operations, Legal and Supply Chain to deliver integration and separation on time and to the required standard.
• Coordinate operational readiness, transitional service agreements (TSAs), service dependencies, business continuity measures and post-close stabilization.
• Support transaction execution during due diligence and transaction planning, including TSAs and other ancillary agreements.
• Advise senior management and secure their buy-in on integration and carve-out matters.

Required profile

• Master's degree in business administration, finance, life sciences or a related field.
• Direct, hands-on experience in post-merger integration and/or carve-out execution across multiple M&A transactions.
• Proven ability to lead integration/separation workstreams or coordinate an integration/separation management office.
• Practical experience with milestones such as due diligence, sign-to-close planning, Day 1 readiness, first-100-day plans, TSA management and post-close execution.
• Business-fluent English.

Required skills

• In-depth experience in post-merger integration, carve-outs, M&A, corporate development, transaction management, finance or strategy, with strong analytical and financial expertise.
• Excellent project management, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and external partners, with a structured, pragmatic approach to competing priorities.
