Associate in AML/KYC

About the role

As an Associate in AML/KYC you will join the AML/KYC unit of the Product Delivery department, based in Spain. You will be responsible for delivering daily AML/KYC operations, ensuring that all checks are performed accurately and on time while supporting client onboarding and fund launches.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing KYC checks on clients, investors, investments and counterparties for low and medium risk cases, and assist with high‑risk cases under supervision.
• Collect, review and track additional documentation for high‑risk investors and escalate issues to senior staff.
• Maintain investor records, input data for FATCA/CRS compliance and ensure audit readiness.
• Store KYC, KYA and KYT documents using the correct naming conventions on the Fundcraft platform.
• Use the shared mailbox to obtain required documents and communicate with LPs via the Fundcraft LP portal or Vestlane.
• Coordinate with internal units such as Registrar, Transfer Agent, Accounting, Risk, Portfolio Management and Compliance to meet deadlines.
• Perform daily KYC/KYT/KYA tasks, managing timelines for closings, distributions, share transfers and other critical events.
• Investigate alerts generated by transaction‑monitoring systems under supervision and provide timely input for client queries, regulatory requests and investor reporting.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
• Good analytical skills and capacity to work under supervision.
• Effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Fluency in English; Spanish language skills are a plus.
