Associate Manager, Supply Chain & Logistics Procurement

About the role

Baxter is looking for an Associate Manager, Supply Chain & Logistics Procurement in Valencia. You will lead sourcing and supplier-management activities across transportation, warehousing and related logistics services, focusing on the EMEA region with support for APAC and global initiatives. The role helps shape how Baxter partners with logistics providers to improve value, service and resilience across an international network.

Key responsibilities

• Shape sourcing strategies for transport and logistics services, including market reviews, competitive tenders, supplier evaluations and negotiations
• Build relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, parcel providers and warehouse partners and turn performance reviews into improvements in reliability, quality, sustainability and risk management
• Negotiate and manage contracts, rate cards, renewals, service levels and commercial terms
• Use spend data, cost models and total-cost analysis to identify savings, build business cases and track value delivery
• Coordinate priorities across countries, functions and business units, and monitor market developments and supplier ideas
• Support wider Supply Chain projects such as transport transitions, warehouse needs and business continuity

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance or a related field
• Solid experience in procurement, logistics, transportation or supply chain, ideally with transport services in a multi-country environment
• Hands-on experience managing external suppliers, including sourcing, cost review, negotiation, performance follow-up, savings delivery and contracting (MSAs, SoWs, amendments, NDAs)
• Fluent English; French is an advantage

Required skills

• Strong financial understanding and ability to analyse costs
• Strong Excel skills; dashboards or Power BI is an advantage
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot is welcome
