Autonomous Vehicle Test Operator – Madrid

About the role

Join a cutting‑edge autonomous vehicle programme as a Test Operator based in Madrid. After a fully funded training period in the United States, you will operate and monitor self‑driving cars on a variety of routes, providing valuable data and feedback to improve the technology.

Key responsibilities

• Drive autonomous vehicles on both predefined and open routes, primarily monitoring the system while intervening when required.
• Collect, log and report detailed ride data for engineering and operations teams.
• Perform software monitoring, environmental observation and verbal feedback during test runs.
• Work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and overnight periods.
• Maintain the highest safety standards inside and outside the vehicle.

Required profile

• Valid EU/EEA Category B driving licence held for at least 5 years.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Ability to travel to the USA for a 4‑6 week training session and pass all background, drug/alcohol and defensive‑driving tests.
• Willingness to work 40 hours per week on varied schedules.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a laptop.
• Experience using Gmail.
• Experience using Google Sheets.
• Experience using Google Docs.
