About the role

The Barceló Hotel Group is looking for a motivated Kitchen Assistant to support the daily operations of its hotel kitchen in Huelva. You will work under the supervision of the Head Chef, ensuring that food preparation meets the established technical specifications and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all recipes based on the technical sheets of the set menu.
• Ensure the smooth functioning of the kitchen and report to the Head Chef.
• Assist in cost control, inventory management, and purchasing processes.
• Participate in cleaning, preservation, cooking, reheating, and restocking of food items.
• Support receipt and storage of food supplies according to established norms and orders.
• Perform tasks in compliance with current safety and hygiene legislation.

Required profile

• Higher vocational training in Cooking and Gastronomy (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior).
• Certification in APPCC (food safety) course.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar kitchen assistant position.
• No specific language requirement.

Required skills

• APPCC (food safety) knowledge.
