Backend Developer – Mobility Business

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Backend Developer to join our DevOps team in Valencia. You will work on high‑performance, secure Java applications that power S3 Passenger, our ticket and seat‑reservation SaaS platform for public transport operators.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices that handle seat booking, ticketing, and payment processing.
• Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines and related tooling.
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Monitor production services with OpenTelemetry, New Relic and PagerDuty, and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure performance, security, and reliability.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Java developer, comfortable with high‑performance and security‑focused code.
• Interest in DevOps practices and cloud‑native architectures.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a desire to continuously learn new technologies.
