Bid Coordinator

About the role

The Bid Coordinator will support the commercial success of Alsa’s bus operations by delivering high‑quality, compelling bid submissions for major contracts, primarily within the UK market. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, you will translate strategic objectives into winning tender responses.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end bid process, including pipeline tracking and documentation.
• Develop bid strategies, write persuasive proposals, and ensure compliance with tender requirements.
• Support business development initiatives and contribute to revenue generation.
• Drive continuous improvement of bid procedures and tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience in the UK bus market, covering commercial, tendered and franchised operations.
• Strong knowledge of relevant timelines, policies and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills at all organisational levels.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, meet tight deadlines and deliver high‑quality outputs.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Experience with Google Workspace equivalents (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
