Brand & Marketing Manager

About the role

Gecko Events is looking for a Brand & Marketing Manager to shape the company’s brand narrative and drive growth through content, social media, paid campaigns and SEO, while also supporting on‑site event activation across Spain and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Own and grow Gecko’s social channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) – strategy, content creation and community management.
• Produce reels, behind‑the‑scenes videos, testimonials and event recaps using phone‑based filming and fast‑turn editing.
• Plan, launch, monitor and optimise paid campaigns on Google Ads and Meta platforms.
• Develop SEO‑focused content to increase organic traffic and generate qualified leads.
• Transform team‑building formats into marketable products, including naming, storytelling and dedicated landing pages.
• Create sales collateral such as case studies, pitch decks and client reviews.
• Travel to events, assist with planning, host activities, energise participants and act as the public face of Gecko.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in marketing, content creation and event support – junior to mid level.
• Deep familiarity with social media trends and best practices.
• Proven ability to manage paid media and interpret performance data.
• Understanding of SEO principles and how content drives traffic.
• Comfortable shooting and editing video on a mobile device.
• Extroverted, warm and able to connect with diverse audiences.
• Fluent English (C1); additional languages such as Catalan are a plus.
