Business Development Manager – French Market

About the role

Preply is looking for a Business Development Manager to lead growth in the French market. Based in sunny Barcelona, you will own the full sales cycle, build relationships with mid‑market and enterprise clients, and help shape the future of corporate language learning.

Key responsibilities

• Drive revenue by managing the entire sales process from prospecting to close‑won.
• Generate at least 50% of pipeline through outbound activities and handle inbound leads.
• Develop and execute territory‑specific growth strategies.
• Use sales methodologies to uncover customer needs and articulate Preply’s value proposition.
• Maintain accurate sales activity and monthly revenue forecasts in Salesforce.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to feed customer feedback into the platform.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of quota‑carrying, direct tech sales experience.
• Customer‑centric, consultative selling style with a self‑starter attitude.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced EdTech startup environment.
• Fluent in French and English.
