Business Development Manager – Sports Category (Madrid)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to lead the sports category on the SHEIN platform. The role focuses on sourcing, negotiating and managing relationships with wholesalers and distributors to bring top‑brand sports products to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and assess potential sports suppliers across the EU, leveraging existing networks and new market research.
• Negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities and contract terms to enable trial purchases and long‑term bulk procurement.
• Analyse EU sports market trends, forecast demand and develop procurement strategies aligned with sales targets.
• Collaborate with global procurement, logistics and cross‑functional teams to streamline processes and improve supply‑chain efficiency.
• Monitor supplier performance, track KPIs such as on‑time delivery and seller success rate, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 5+ years of procurement, business development or vendor management experience in the sports industry.
• Established network of wholesalers and distributors in the EU.
• Deep knowledge of EU sports wholesale procurement processes.
• Strong negotiation abilities and strategic planning skills.
