About the role

As a Buyer at Destinus, you will ensure that critical materials, components, and suppliers keep pace with rapid aerospace innovation. You will sit at the intersection of operations, production, and supplier coordination, turning advanced UAV programs from prototype to scalable industrial reality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full purchasing cycle from requisition validation to purchase order issuance and supplier follow‑up.
• Secure supplier commitments on pricing, lead times, quantities and delivery schedules while maintaining strong operational relationships.
• Monitor open orders, proactively expedite critical materials and avoid production disruptions.
• Escalate supply risks, delivery delays and performance issues in a structured manner.
• Maintain accurate ERP data for planning, visibility and reporting.
• Coordinate closely with production, engineering and internal stakeholders to align procurement priorities.
• Take end‑to‑end responsibility for assigned suppliers and procurement activities.
• Support sourcing, supplier evaluations, RFQ/RFP processes and commercial alignment initiatives.
• Participate in negotiations and resolve delivery, invoice and documentation issues.
• Identify recurring supplier or process issues and contribute to corrective actions and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or supply‑chain roles within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Proven experience managing suppliers and operational procurement in fast‑paced settings.
• Strong understanding of procurement workflows and ERP systems.
• Ability to adapt priorities quickly and operate effectively in dynamic environments.
