Camarero/a de pisos – Hotel Occidental Puerto Banús

About the role

We are looking for a Housekeeping staff member to join the team at the Occidental Puerto Banús hotel, part of the Barceló Group. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness and order of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cleaning materials, products and equipment for daily tasks.
• Clean and arrange guest rooms and common areas, checking the condition of furniture, fixtures and minibar items.
• Make beds, ventilate rooms, replenish toiletries, linens and minibar supplies.
• Inspect rooms for damages and report any defects.
• Assist guests during their stay, handle lost‑and‑found items and respond to complaints according to hotel protocol.
• Collect used linens and send them to laundry, restock supplies and complete required paperwork.

Required profile

• Basic secondary education (ESO) or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar housekeeping position is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of English is a plus.
• Customer‑oriented attitude, teamwork, motivation and responsibility.
• Attention to detail, organization and concern for quality.
