Camarero/a – Hotel en Madrid

About the role

The Hotel Barceló Torre de Madrid is looking for a professional waiter/waitress to join its food‑and‑beverage team. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality service to guests in the restaurant, bar and event areas, ensuring a memorable dining experience while upholding the brand’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare work stations and service areas before each shift.
• Serve guests at tables, the bar and during events, providing product advice and handling orders.
• Close the cash register, process payments and reconcile receipts at the end of the shift.
• Rotate between the hotel’s various restaurants according to operational needs.
• Follow instructions from the sector manager and prioritize the main points of sale.
• Inform guests about allergens and intolerances related to dishes and drinks.
• Monitor stock levels, replenish utensils, beverages and other supplies.
• Coordinate with auxiliary staff and support the floor manager in daily operations.

Required profile

• Medium‑level hospitality training (Ciclo Formativo Grado Medio en Hostelería) or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience as a waiter or in a similar food‑service role.
• Intermediate to advanced English (tested during recruitment).
• Team‑oriented mindset and strong customer focus.
