Certifying Staff Member – Quality Material Services (Seville)

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Certifying Staff Member to join its Quality Material Services team at the Tablada site in Seville. The role supports material certification, quality inspections and continuous improvement for civil and military aerospace programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with civil and military regulations (Part 21, Part 145, EN 9100, etc.) and maintain the integrity of the Quality Management System.
• Perform qualified acceptance inspections of incoming material and certify it with the appropriate airworthiness certificates.
• Validate material against regulatory approvals, check airworthiness directives and component maintenance manuals.
• Create and resolve discrepancies in Airbus systems and issue required documentation to customers.
• Support quality audits, drive corrective and preventive actions, and lead continuous‑improvement projects.
• Monitor performance through KPI scorecards and manage customer claims.

Required profile

• Knowledge of official civil and military regulations such as EASA Part 21, EASA Part 145, PERAM, EMAR, CAA and EN 9100.
• Experience in material certification, airworthiness documentation and quality inspection processes.
• Ability to analyse discrepancies, propose solutions and follow up on corrective actions.
