Channel Specialist – Madrid Cluster – Revenue Department

About the role

Barceló Group is seeking a Channel Specialist to join its Revenue Department in Madrid. You will be responsible for managing the distribution of hotel inventory across online and offline channels, ensuring rate parity and supporting revenue‑management strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Control inventory, verify correct loading and distribution of rates, restrictions, and availability.
• Manage distribution channels such as Booking.com, Expedia, Hotelbeds, ensuring consistent pricing and conditions.
• Monitor and resolve technical issues with the channel manager (Synxis) and maintain connectivity.
• Audit and update rates, restrictions, cancellation policies, and guarantees in the channel manager.
• Support the Revenue Management team by implementing pricing strategies and promotions across all platforms.
• Utilise tools including Synxis, Pick‑up Tracking, PowerBI, and Beonx for data analysis and reporting.
• Analyse campaign results, handle RFPs, oversee third‑party channel content, and manage advertising spend and ROI.
• Configure new channels, propose distribution improvements, and participate in technology‑enhancement projects.

Required profile

• Education in Tourism, Hospitality, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar channel‑management or revenue‑support role.
