City Operations Manager – Barcelona

About the role

Zoomo is looking for a City Operations Manager to lead daily operations of its e‑bike platform in Barcelona. You will be responsible for driving growth, ensuring operational excellence and delivering an outstanding customer experience across retail, mechanics and field teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own market‑level KPIs for financial and operational performance, including P&L, customer growth, retention and revenue.
• Motivate, coach and develop front‑of‑house retail staff, back‑of‑house mechanics and field operations, fostering a positive culture.
• Design and execute strategic sales and marketing initiatives aligned with market trends.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and embed customer‑centric values throughout the team.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, health and safety guidelines, and drive continuous process improvements.
• Manage stock levels, conduct regular stock takes and oversee labour spend and roster planning.

Required profile

• Relevant Diploma or Degree in Business Management or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in operations or retail management, with proven P&L responsibility.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing a diverse team.
• Background in sales or marketing and a hands‑on, results‑oriented mindset.
• Self‑starter with an ownership mentality, able to thrive in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
