Client Onboarding Manager – Venture Capital Funds

About the role

Fundcraft is looking for a Client Onboarding Manager in Girona to drive the onboarding and migration of venture capital funds onto its platform. The role owns end-to-end project management for a portfolio of onboarding mandates, acting as the main point of contact between clients, operations and data migration teams. It reports directly to the Head of Client Solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end onboarding and migration of VC and private market funds, from kick-off to go-live
• Build, monitor and maintain project plans, tracking timelines, milestones and deliverables
• Coordinate with clients, operations and data migration teams, flagging risks and escalating blockers
• Act as the client's trusted contact during the migration cycle
• Set up and maintain funds' static data (structure, share classes, fees, key dates, service providers)
• Perform first-level checks and reconciliation of data migrated from the previous administrator
• Maintain trackers, status reports and checklists, and guide onboarding team members
• Contribute to improving onboarding processes and feed timeline and capacity information back to commercial discussions

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Law or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in fund administration, fund accounting, transfer agency, client onboarding or a related role in asset management/private capital
• Understanding of private capital fund structures (SCSp, RAIF, SICAV-SCA, AIFMD) and the VC/fund lifecycle
• Knowledge of alternative fund regulations such as AIFMD or CSSF guidelines
• Fluent English; French and/or German is an advantage

Required skills

• Solid grasp of fund accounting concepts (NAV, capital accounts, capital calls/distributions, subscriptions)
• Comfortable with Excel; exposure to project management or productivity tools such as Notion is a plus
• Attention to detail, organisation, quick learning of new software and clear communication
