Clinical Research Physician - Oncology

About the role

Lilly is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Physician to lead oncology clinical programs. The role is remote and supports global trial design, execution, and post‑approval activities, ensuring that new medicines reach patients safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Design and oversee global late‑phase oncology clinical trials.
• Develop protocols, study reports, and data dissemination strategies.
• Review scientific publications and support labeling updates.
• Prepare documents for pricing, reimbursement, and market access.
• Ensure adverse event reporting complies with patient‑safety standards.
• Interact with regulatory agencies (FDA, EMA, etc.) and external thought leaders.
• Advise study teams and contribute to business unit and global product strategy.
• Maintain compliance with FDA, ICH, CPMP, GCP, and Lilly policies.

Required profile

• Medical degree with board certification in oncology or related specialty.
• Extensive clinical research experience, preferably in late‑phase or marketed compounds.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (FDA, ICH, CPMP) and Good Clinical Practice.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and communicate scientific data.
