Co-Founder (Equity Compensation)

About the role

Ownership Economy is seeking a mission‑driven co‑founder to help turn its vision of a shared‑ownership ecosystem into a trusted movement, platform, and certification network. This full‑time, equity‑only role will be based in either Barcelona or New York and requires a founder‑level mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the growth of a high‑value community of founders, investors, companies, workers, creators, policymakers and ecosystem partners.
• Design and execute engagement strategies across events, digital platforms, working groups, newsletters and member experiences.
• Develop the platform roadmap, including community features, member tools, educational resources, certification workflows and partner directories.
• Craft the brand voice and narrative around ownership, participation and economic inclusion.
• Establish strategic partnerships with accelerators, funds, universities, nonprofits and corporations.
• Own the certification program: refine value proposition, build scalable application and audit processes, define standards and drive adoption.
• Create pricing, packaging and revenue models for the certification and support fundraising efforts.

Required profile

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proven track record of building communities or platforms.
• Strong network in startup, investment, policy or creator ecosystems.
• Commercial acumen and experience raising capital or securing strategic partnerships.
• Deep commitment to shared‑ownership models and economic inclusion.
