About the role

Barcelo Hotel Group is looking for a substitute cook to join its kitchen team in Sevilla. You will work under the Head Chef, ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all dishes according to the technical sheets of the established menu rotation.
• Ensure the kitchen runs efficiently and support the Head Chef in daily operations.
• Assist with cost control, inventory management, and purchasing activities.
• Participate in cleaning, preservation, cooking, regeneration, and restocking of food items.
• Support the receipt and storage of food supplies following established standards and orders.
• Carry out tasks in compliance with current safety, hygiene, and work‑procedure regulations.

Required profile

• Higher‑level culinary training (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior en Cocina y Gastronomía) and a HACCP course.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar kitchen position.
• No language requirement; hospitality knowledge is a plus.
• Team‑oriented, creative, adaptable to a dynamic environment, and meticulous in task execution.

Required skills

• HACCP (food safety) knowledge.
