Cocinero/a para hotel en Valencia

About the role

We are looking for a motivated cook to join the kitchen team at a 4‑star hotel in Valencia. You will work under the supervision of the Head Chef, preparing dishes according to the established menu specifications and ensuring high standards of quality and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all recipes based on technical sheets from the menu cycle.
• Ensure smooth kitchen operations and support the Head Chef.
• Assist in cost control, inventory management and purchasing.
• Carry out cleaning, preservation, cooking, regeneration and replenishment of food items.
• Receive and store food supplies following established standards and orders.
• Perform tasks in compliance with safety, hygiene regulations and company procedures.

Required profile

• Higher vocational training in Cooking and Gastronomy (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior).
• APPCC (HACCP) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar kitchen position.
• Team‑player attitude, creativity and ability to work under pressure.
• Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Food safety management (APPCC/HACCP).
