Computer Vision Data Scientist – Remote (Spain)

About the role

We are looking for a Computer Vision Data Scientist to develop and deploy machine‑learning algorithms for identity document analysis, authentication and fraud detection. The position is remote within Spain, preferably based in Madrid or Barcelona.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement document‑based algorithms for digital onboarding and identity authentication solutions.
• Develop and prototype proof‑of‑concepts, then turn them into production‑ready solutions for cloud, server and mobile environments.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and support teams to deploy algorithms and manage long‑term improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an international team, with excellent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Python programming for research and application development.
• C++ (plus).
• Deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and foundation models.
• Image processing libraries and toolkits (e.g., OpenCV).
• AI‑driven development tools to accelerate computer‑vision R&D.
• Data curation, annotation and synthetic training data generation.
