Construction Superintendent

About the role

The Superintendent will be accountable for all onsite aspects of multiple multifamily projects, overseeing Garden, Walk‑up, Affordable and Wrap‑type product lines. This role drives a culture of mentorship, growth and accountability while ensuring safety, quality and schedule performance.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a champion of JPI’s culture and guiding principles, treating all team members with respect.
• Develop and maintain a collaborative team environment across field staff, trade partners and building officials.
• Assist the Project Manager with OAC meetings and promptly communicate cost or schedule impacts.
• Monitor safety, scheduling, quality control and code compliance on a daily basis.
• Create and manage a job‑site material delivery program to meet project timelines.
• Develop and maintain a detailed job‑site schedule, communicating requirements to the field crew.
• Lead weekly meetings covering look‑ahead schedule, safety, SWPPP, quality, RFIs, submittals and toolbox topics.
• Conduct thorough plan reviews covering fair‑housing, code compliance, constructability, long‑lead items and turn‑sequence before vertical construction.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading construction teams on multifamily residential projects.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations, building codes and fair‑housing requirements.
• Ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders and maintain accurate documentation.
• Experience coordinating material logistics and schedule development.
