Contracts and Budget Manager

About the role

IQVIA is looking for a Contracts and Budget Manager in Barcelona. The role oversees clinical trial budgets and leads negotiations on a global scale, working with sites and sponsors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, negotiate and manage clinical trial agreements with sites and sponsors
• Serve as the main point of contact for investigative sites and/or sponsors
• Ensure all contractual documents for sites are tracked to completion
• Establish project timelines
• Set and execute goals and objectives for the team and track operational and financial performance
• Develop complex contracting strategies, coordinate investigator grants where applicable, and write proposal text to support proposal development
• Develop contract and budget templates, contracting systems, tools, processes and training materials

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or healthcare
• 3 to 5 years of prior relevant experience
• Thorough understanding of the regulated clinical trial environment and knowledge of the drug development process
• Goal-oriented, self-starter with a proven ability to work independently
