Controller EMEA

About the role

We are seeking a Controller EMEA to join our Barcelona team, responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting for our Europe and LATAM subsidiaries. The role will support P&L monitoring, monthly closings, budgeting, data analysis and financial planning, while improving reporting tools using advanced Excel.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and understand underlying businesses and projects, providing forecasting and decision‑support.
• Perform ad‑hoc financial analysis and maintain complex financial models for new projects, budgeting, client negotiations and other finance needs across Europe and LATAM.
• Collaborate with local finance teams to validate regional P&L statements, balance sheets and financial reports for monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Track variances and analyse key financial metrics aligned with regional operational initiatives for the EMEA region.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of progressive finance or controlling experience.
• Previous experience as an Auditor, Controller or in Financial Planning.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and compliance.
• Fluency in Spanish and English; interview conducted in English.

• Advanced Excel (complex formulas, data modelling, pivot tables).
