Controller MX Lead - Marketplace Experience

About the role

Glovo, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is looking for a Finance Lead (Controller MX Lead) within its Marketplace Experience team. The role owns the economics behind the support operations that power the marketplace: full P&L responsibility, forecasting cadence, and the models and tools that give leadership visibility. It is a senior, non-reporting position based in Barcelona, open to people with a strong financial background in consulting, banking or corporate/operational finance.

Key responsibilities

• Own financial reporting and forecasting end to end for Marketplace Experience operations, including P&L accuracy and credible Best Estimates.
• Set the analytical agenda on cost drivers and unit economics, driving them to a decision.
• Design and own the financial toolkit: models, dashboards and self-serve frameworks used by local teams, operators and leadership.
• Act as finance business partner to Service Delivery Leads, country operations, BPO partners and HQ FP&A.
• Lead deep dives on material variances to root cause and drive corrective plans.
• Own the finance workstream on cost reduction, BPO efficiency and capacity/investment decisions.
• Raise the bar for the wider finance and operations community, mentoring junior analysts.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, audit or corporate/operational finance, with ownership of a P&L or major cost base.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Statistics or a related field.
• Deep financial acumen: hands-on P&L ownership, advanced financial modelling and fluency with accounting statements and unit economics.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and external/BPO partners without formal authority.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
