Coordinating Nurse (Spanish/French/English) – Madrid

About the role

International SOS is seeking a Coordinating Nurse to provide expert medical guidance and coordinate care for travelers facing health issues abroad. Based in Madrid, you will work in a fast‑paced, multinational environment, ensuring safe and cost‑effective solutions that meet duty‑of‑care standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assess incoming medical calls, gather clinical details, and deliver clear, professional advice to travellers.
• Coordinate treatment, transport, and follow‑up care with global assistance centres, treating physicians, and claims teams.
• Guide patients and clients toward safe, policy‑aligned decisions while managing costs.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless case progression across borders.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with experience in acute, emergency or intensive care settings.
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and technologies.
• Experience in medical assistance or travel health is desirable.
• Fluent in written and spoken Spanish, French and English.
