Corporate Lawyer

About the role

Adevinta is seeking a talented and principled Corporate Lawyer to join its Group Legal team. You will work in a fast‑paced, in‑house environment, providing high‑quality legal advice on corporate matters across the group’s global brands.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on a wide range of corporate legal matters for group entities, including restructurings and strategic transactions.
• Provide pragmatic, business‑focused counsel to senior stakeholders and manage external counsel on corporate issues.
• Support board and committee preparation, draft resolutions and minutes, and ensure compliance with corporate governance obligations.
• Maintain statutory books, corporate records, and organisational charts for group companies.
• Handle KYC requests, corporate documentation for banks and counterparties, and manage signature authority processes.

Required profile

• EU‑qualified lawyer with 3–5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Background in corporate law, preferably with private‑practice and in‑house experience in a regulated environment.
• Interest or experience in ethical compliance and/or data privacy.
• Strong drafting ability and sound legal judgement.
• Excellent written and verbal English; additional language (German, French or Dutch) is a plus.
