Creative Director – Catalog Games

About the role

King’s Catalog Games is seeking a Creative Director to shape the vision and future of its most impactful live titles. Based in Barcelona, you will act as the voice of the player, define creative strategy, and partner closely with product leadership to deliver memorable experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Define, own, and communicate the creative vision for the portfolio’s flagship titles.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of designers and artists, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate game performance, player feedback, and industry trends to translate insights into actionable creative strategies.
• Partner with Product, Production, and Tech leads to ensure alignment between creative direction, product strategy, and technical feasibility.
• Develop and maintain design processes, methodologies, and standards to guarantee high‑quality, player‑led experiences.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior creative leadership role within games, entertainment, or digital product development.
• Deep understanding of game design principles, player psychology, and engagement loops.
• Strong storytelling and communication abilities to articulate a compelling vision.
• Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative player insights into creative decisions.
• Track record of guiding cross‑functional teams from concept to execution.
• Excellent collaboration skills with the capacity to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Broad knowledge of creative disciplines including Game Design, Level Design, UX/UI, Art, and Player Research.
