CSA Site Supervisor

About the role

Mercury, the European leader in construction solutions, is looking for a CSA Site Supervisor to manage safety, quality and day‑to‑day operations for the CSA packages on a construction site in Madrid. The role reports to the Mercury Safety Advisor and the CSA Package Manager and plays a key part in delivering complex engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, manage and close out the site safety file in collaboration with the Safety Advisor.
• Establish, maintain and close out the QA file together with the CSA Package Manager.
• Coordinate the project schedule with other trades and package leads.
• Oversee daily on‑site operations for CSA packages, including material deliveries and plant/equipment variations.
• Manage subcontractor activities, track progress against schedule, and monitor manpower levels.
• Attend weekly subcontractor meetings and contribute to minutes.
• Maintain the Mercury “In Progress” snagging system and issue weekly punch‑list updates.
• Provide labour and subcontractor hours to the time administrator.
• Participate in site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews and hand‑over meetings.
• Close out project items such as O&M manuals, punch lists, safety and QA files.
• Produce weekly look‑ahead plans, progress reports and photographic diaries.

Required profile

• Proven experience in site supervision within construction or engineering projects.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills, especially with subcontractors.
• Familiarity with construction safety and quality assurance procedures.
• Ability to manage documentation, schedules and reporting accurately.
• Excellent communication skills for meetings and stakeholder interaction.
