Customer Quality Engineer (Temporary, On‑site)

About the role

This temporary, on‑site position in Barcelona supports 2M Engineering’s commitment to delivering high‑quality industrial solutions. The Customer Quality Engineer acts as the primary liaison between customers, production, and internal quality teams to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer complaints and non‑conformities, ensuring timely resolution.
• Lead root‑cause analysis using tools such as 5 Whys and Ishikawa diagrams.
• Define and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor quality performance indicators and prepare regular quality reports.
• Support internal and external audits, as well as customer visits.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to validate new products and processes.
• Update quality documentation and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong focus on customer‑related quality issues and experience handling feedback and complaints.
• Proficiency in quality control, inspection methods, and component/assembly validation.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Solid analytical skills and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in a customer‑facing quality role.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities; able to work cross‑functionally.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities on‑site.
