CX & X‑Sell Manager – Openbank Pay

About the role

Openbank Pay, the new checkout lending platform of the Santander Group, is looking for a performance‑driven CX & X‑Sell Manager. You will be fully dedicated to maximising cross‑sell and upsell opportunities across its growing European customer base, covering cards, BNPL, installments, cash loans, insurance and future products.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the European cross‑sell and upsell roadmap, identifying high‑propensity segments and prioritising economically impactful initiatives.
• Design, launch and optimise targeted cross‑sell campaigns across app, web, push, email and merchant touchpoints, partnering with Marketing, Data and Product teams.
• Own KPIs such as cross‑sell rate, incremental revenue, CLV uplift and campaign ROI; conduct A/B testing and continuous optimisation cycles.
• Leverage behavioural data and propensity models to personalise offers while ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Integrate voice‑of‑customer and satisfaction insights into optimisation loops, balancing commercial intensity with long‑term retention.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in cross‑sell, upsell, growth or lifecycle roles within fintech, banking or e‑commerce.
• Strong analytical skills with hands‑on campaign performance management.
• Experience working with data segmentation and propensity models.
• Solid understanding of credit products and digital customer journeys.
• Fluent English.

Required skills

• Experience with marketing automation tools such as Adobe.
