Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Cyber Security Engineer to protect our high‑traffic programmatic infrastructure. You will act as the guardian of our digital ecosystem, combining security engineering with agile DevOps practices.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deploy scalable, cloud‑native security controls such as WAF, Security Groups, GuardDuty and CSPM.
• Design and maintain automated threat‑detection rules and response mechanisms for cloud and container environments.
• Run continuous vulnerability‑assessment programs and coordinate third‑party penetration testing.
• Secure the software supply chain, SDKs and third‑party data‑partner integrations.
• Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to embed secure design, threat modelling and API security throughout the product lifecycle.
• Lead incident‑response and forensic investigations, mitigating breach impact.
• Ensure GDPR‑compliant data‑privacy architecture and processing workflows.
• Develop and keep up‑to‑date security policies, standards and incident‑handling documentation.
• Promote a security‑first culture through awareness training and guidance on ad‑fraud and invalid traffic.

Required profile

• 4‑5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or security engineering.
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR and its application in data‑heavy European environments.

Required skills

• AWS and/or GCP cloud security.
• Linux system hardening and container security.
• API security principles and high‑throughput API protection.
• Cloud‑native security tools (WAF, GuardDuty, CSPM) and SIEM platforms.
• Vulnerability scanners such as Nessus or Qualys.
• Automation scripting with Python or Bash.
• Supply‑chain and third‑party risk management.
