Cyber Security Specialist – Space Domain

About the role

Are you ready to secure the final frontier? As space assets become increasingly vital to global security, we need a dedicated professional to take end‑to‑end security responsibility for our Spanish Space Domain. You will bridge high‑level architecture and hands‑on operational excellence, managing the full security lifecycle from blueprint to active defence.

Key responsibilities

• Design secure systems, perform compliance checks and risk assessments for space‑based assets.
• Consult internal customers, define hardening guidelines and own product security for mission‑critical projects.
• Lead operational defence by managing security technologies (e.g., EDR), driving proactive vulnerability management and handling firewall and access‑control ticketing.

Required profile

• Broad cyber‑security toolkit covering architecture to operational defence.
• Experience with vulnerability management and endpoint protection.
• Ability to translate complex security requirements into practical hardening guidelines.
• CISSP or similar certification and basic audit knowledge are a plus.
• Strong communication skills to partner with engineering teams.
