Data Scientist – Machine Learning for Marketing

About the role

Indaru is seeking a Data Scientist who is passionate about applying machine‑learning techniques to real‑world marketing challenges. You will work directly with global advertisers, turning complex data into actionable insights that drive multi‑million‑euro investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy machine‑learning models for Marketing Mix Modelling, forecasting, segmentation and attribution.
• Contribute to proprietary platforms such as AITA (MMM platform) and EcoMetrics (digital advertising carbon‑footprint measurement).
• Transform model outputs into clear, defensible recommendations for clients.
• Build and optimise ELT pipelines that integrate data from Google Ads, Meta, Google Analytics, YouTube and Amazon.
• Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Looker Studio, Shiny, Power BI or similar tools.
• Present findings and recommendations directly to client stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong Python expertise for data science (pandas, scikit‑learn, etc.) and ability to handle large datasets (GB–TB scale).
• Proficient SQL skills for writing and reasoning about complex queries.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑directed and comfortable collaborating with colleagues and clients.
• Fluent written and spoken English (C1 level).
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or a related quantitative field.
