DevOps Engineer – AI/ML Infrastructure

About the role

Santander Digital Services is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support its AI transformation agenda. Based in Madrid, you will design, build, and operate the infrastructure that powers AI and machine‑learning solutions across the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML models and generative AI applications.
• Build and maintain cloud‑native infrastructure on AWS or GCP to support the full AI lifecycle.
• Automate provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and high availability of AI services in production.
• Implement MLOps best practices, including model versioning, monitoring, rollback, and automated testing.
• Collaborate with data engineering, ML, and AI experts to operationalise models and integrate them into business‑critical systems.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and lead root‑cause analysis.
